Re: 1973 23 CC Restored in 1995
I'm betting they will not send you a chip. You have to buy the color wheel for $40.
http://www.minicraft.com/fantex.htm That sounds like a lot, but from the past, I see it as fairly reasonable. |

Not even close? Must be a custom color.
The Sterling Pacific blue is close but darker. http://forum.classicseacraft.com/sho...prev=#Post9070 |

Re: 1973 23 CC Restored in 1995
That has to be a custom mix or the picture isnt showing the true color ... I'm gauging it against the white ...the sky blue (on the chart) almost looks like it has purplish tint in it. I wonder if that color was used as a base then mixed with other colors
My hull color ... I have that alwgrip chart and nothing is even close to my hull ... Rod ... You're right that Sterling Pac. Blue is about the closest |

Re: 1973 23 CC Restored in 1995
It probably is the sky blue unless the guy who was painting it added some stock white. Need to remember that the color chips sometimes vary from the finished product due to the age of the color chip, fading of the hull from the sun, etc.

Re: 1973 23 CC Restored in 1995
The color of my boat is sky-blue and the product is AWL GRIP. I am certain of this. By the photos, I believe the 2 are very similar.
