I like the way he did the grab rails on the boat. I have been wanting to replace my original grab rails for a long time now but since I have no confidence nor the proper tools to make the 90 degree turn in stainless steel at the bow of the boat I have been waiting to figure out what to do. I also didn’t want to spend twice or three times as much for a pipe welder to custom make them for me. Looks like I have a alternative, I know I can make those rounded curves in the tubing (port and starboard) to make it fit properly. I sure wish I saw this stuff just before Christmas I took off 10 days for some family and “FISHING” fun but wound up land locked duo to 6-9 foot Seas for 9 days in a row. I did catch one Sailfish and some kings the first day but that was it.

Nice boat ....

Just not to sure about the color

Guess I'll need to go with "white" bottom paint now !!!

If mr owner is around ... I'm guessing they color matched your hull using a sample of the gel coat .. What product is it ??

Hello, I am the owner of the 1973 Seacraft. I was excited to find the site. I did not know there were too many boats still out there. I intend to post more photos in the near future. She was fully restored in 1995 and now has a full transom with bracket/platform. Unfortunately, I had to repeat some work last year for another big investment. I purchased a 2000 Yamaha 250 in 2002. She has plenty of power but I am limited to about 43 MPH full out. She is heavier than original. I will be glad to answer questions and will try to get more photos very soon.

Awl Grip. I was told the blue is an original color. From some old photos it looks as if it may have been origianlly all white.

Always happy to see a fellow treasure coast SeaCrafter. Hope you can make the get together in April after the Dania flea market?

BTW: Your Potter stickers are in the mail

I viewed the photos of the restoration performed on your craft and noticed ours were done the same. I have the same live well in the transom and the same access doors.

HerPayCheck ...Welcome and cant wait to see some more pictures.
That color is an original one (as you can see from mine). In fact I was all set to change the color but it has grown on me ... not many with that color/shade of blue!! I like it as it is a bit unique . I get many compliments on that color ... many have said dont even think of changing it. Quite honestly if I were to pain the boat at this time ...I think I would go with a very bright snow white for the hull sides ... and a green bottom ... I saw a 23 in our area like this and it was real nice ..extremely clean and simple. There’s another big boat line that does that color combo ... their boats look awesome.
