You guys are making me nervouse. I have had mine on for 5 years with no troubles. They are noisy as hell but work fine, knock on wood. How much is a back up cylinder? I have not checked yet.

I wouldn't worry too much ,I think they are good tabs.Maybe I am hard on them.I use my skiffs a lot and being they are small boats and with usually two other people I am constantly on the tabs.I've never had to pay for an actuator,but I think they are only a hundred dollars or so.They are simple,simple to replace though.

as Joey said...I would not worry too much. My Lenco's were 11 years old when one finally crapped out. I wound up replacing both actuators because I did not want to have to do it all over again in another two months. I think the actuators were $60 each. Ed |

quick check online $120 +/- for the basic lenco actuator then $200+ for the trolln tab !!

Scott-Thats what I have seen
Even at cost I was above $60 when I purchased my spare a year or so ago. Curious where Ed can buy an actuator for $60? |
