I have a 1989 23WA and have not had any problems with quality control or defects. No cracking, etc. A few rust streaks around the stainless hardware, but they clean up with a little effort. My boat came out of the Tampa factory, maybe that had something to do with it.

hey newbie- i love this site but you will find that some, not all, of the older hull owners seem to have a severe dislike of the newer seacrafts for whatever reason- i know more recent owners than classic owners personally, and the feedback is on the whole very good- i own a 2000 sc21 that i love-fit and finish is great- i have heard all about the quality control and customer service issues at seacraft and they are true as i have dealt with the home office when they were in miami- i have heard good things since the relocation to nc- time will tell- good luck
