Rod holder angles???

Most gunnel mounted rod holders, either close to the transom or forward angled out for the outriggers, are 30 degrees. Rocket launchers, behind the seat, are generally at 15*, as not to become in the way walking behind and underneath. The ones mounted on my enclosed transom are also 15 degrees. I have seen some SKA boats with 15* ones up on the bow for multiple rods being fished.
