I will vouch for the engine, my best friend has been a dealer for 30+yrs and just put an 03 200 on another best friends boat, if it was a great motor he wouldn't have done that. He also picked up at the same time a 250 and 225 which I have mentioned on here and he only has the 225 left, a lady from FS grabbed the 250. I would do excatly as Peter said though, pay someone with knowledge 300 to check it out, the boat and the motor-good advice Peter.
