Default Re: pigment in epoxy

Dan,

Thanks for the generous offer (if directed @ me). Of coarse I know where the 27’ is and she looks beautiful…drive by her all the time. The cooler project is already built and laid up. It is for a local restaurant and we wanted to tint the final couple of coats of epoxy to avoid painting it on the inside. Nobody wants paint chips in their ice . I will be giving the white pigment a shot this weekend. From what I have seen you don’t want to go too heavy on adding it as it seems it could change the cured properties of the epoxy. I was hoping someone could share an experience. My guess is I’ll be torn between trying to make it too white and maintaining a non brittle cure.
