Great to see the rig finally in the water. i know that it has been a long time coming. I am guessing that you should hit the low to mid 60's. What do you think?

Peter-Thanks for the comments. You know how long it's been! I am thinking that with the adjustable jackplates, 60+mph shouldn't be a stretch. My wife freaked that with one motor we were at 40 last night.

is that stainless or white rubber?

Denny-Thanks for the comments. The previous owner painted the black insert white. I have had a new black Taco insert on back order with Boater's World for 3 weeks now. Up close the insert is in ruff shape.

My original comments:

Notes on the boat: Originally one of 6 jackshafted diesels, 4 seperate gas tanks totalling 200 gallons(may be too little considering the motors )100 gallons where the Volvo sat and 2 saddle tanks below deck, extra fish box custom built behind original bow storage step, 3 inch drain scuppers that where routed through the original exaust baffles (I found my 3 inch drain plugs in the plumbing section @ Ace hardware), jackplates on both motors

Jason- Here is the boat history. I think that based on the unique configuration, the boat was fished daily, charter fishing out of Miami in it's original life. When the guy here in bradenton got it, he pulled the Volvo motor and outdrive and just glassed in the transom opening, dropped the motors on the bracket, 100 gals under the console and that was about it. He fished the SKA with it down here before he bought his Contender..........
