Imron is better for a boat but its very expensive. I've sprayed both of them Imron comes out alot better and lasts alot longer it can be polished up easier. They use Imron on everything expensive car restorations airplanes. Dupont makes it so its good stuff. Awlgrip was just specifically made for the marine industry its nothing special as they say not to use it below the water line. I just sprayed my boat with awlgrip as it was the best price economically and everyone knows the name awlgrip. Alexseal makes some great paint too better than awlgrip i'm hearing.
