Light motors and dedicated pumps keep them dry.
My Slacker has factory mods from some who came before me and were smarter than I. Merritt boys? Don`t know. Weights and measures are key here. Think light and CG. Cheers, GFS |

My MA has them going down to below and exit under the hull not to the transom I wonder how that's going to work? Easy enough to plug them up if needed.
Can others chine in on this? |

Hey eyez where on cape are you? is there a chance we could take a look? Are the balls below the water? do they exit out the transom or somewhere else?

I had the 3" ray buds on my inboard they worked good. If you trailer your boat crud is really a non issue. Make sure you install them right some balls were weighted and some not. Wild did you raise your deck or is it stock height, your bracket should give you some stern lift and help with self-bailing. I think with your set-up that is similar to a Regulator's 6" oval just a rubber flapper would work or those sea stop flappers. The large ping pongs are noisy but you can push them into the seal to plug at anchor giant fishing then un-plug when running. Did Bobby spray it I would like to check it out some day..
