need more help

I'm the first one to support my local trades in all aspects.
What has happened on these older Johnson's the local dealers
do not even stock or in most cases cannot get the parts in a
timely manner. Do to the fact they have to place a $5000 minimum order
with the factory. In today's economy small business's cannot afford
to have dead inventory. Myself being a small business owner. 4 years
ago it was not uncommon to stock over $60K in inventory.
Today more like $8K...

When I needed a set of thermosat hoses for my 1990 90HP Johnson
my local dealer (a friend at that) informed me, Ken just go to iboats...
I do not like it anymore then the rest of you but the plain facts remain.
When you need the part, you need the part!!!
