Exactly how the '89 sounded on my Seabird!

As everyone else has said...reliable engines that are smoky and thirsty. Cold start-up is the best when they smoke like a bastard. It's actually quite funny to watch other people's reaction when they see it.

iIsn't that one of the years they had problems with the oil injection pumps going bad.

Interesting article, I'll have to print a copy and give to Acie, he is the first reference on the article and has serviced my outboard since new. He since opened up a new first class service center and has become an Envirude dealer near Kemah, TX. His parents own Redfin Marine in Houston, TX. He has several race boats on display at his new facility.
