It will be a bit of a pig - mark my word..........

ran 4 200+ pound people, full fuel, and ice. The 175 chugged right along 22- 25mph cruise . . . 36 top end. It did strain a little in the swell at 3200 - 3500rpm. Above and below that rpm range was fine. Burned a LOT more fuel than running solo. boat still planes at 11mph.

Not bad - better than I expected. Run it with a 225 hp and note the difference !

I think Bigshrimpin has an EXCELLENT motor!! BUT I don't think his performance is the norm. I'd wait to see how others have done with less than 200 hp, then decide...IMHO.
