Welcome aboard! I'd suggest you consider the Hermco Bracket . . . all glass, so never any corrosion worries. Rig it like Don recommends, with all rigging going thru transom into flotation tub and then up thru swim platform . . . leaves a nice clean swim platform that's easy to walk across. Check out Capt.
