Thanks Tiny . . . I didn't think it was too bad for a 1987 2.4L 175hp Mercury powerhead . . . Put another 70 miles on it yesterday with the new prop. I'm fairly sure a new 150 4 stroke Merc would be able to hang with a 27 year old 175hp

Gillie - I can't wait to see what the 2.5L 240 sportjet block will do . . . I'll be swapping that motor on after fishing season. Might even see 50 You never know.
