Outstanding!! My brother just picked his boat up today with the 25" shaft 250 HO G2 installed....finally. With the 20 pitch Evinrude four blade prop it hits 60 mph at 6000 rpm. 3310 rpm it's at 26 mph. However it needs to be noted this is without the T-top, which won't happen by next week's trip to Marathon, only 45 gallons of fuel and a very light load. Call it luck, or just listening and learning from all the others on this site who have installed brackets, but we nailed the install on the bracket height!! The bracket was built with a 27" set back, a 13 degree mounting face and negative 2 degrees (15) on the engine mounting plate. We mounted the top of the front edge 26 1/2" up from the keel which put the center of the top mounting holes 29 1/2" up from the keel. On plane the AV plate is about 1/4" above the water on the middle mounting hole. We went with the 2" up for each 12" of set back rule. We'll post pics soon. Good luck!!!!!
