30" shaft. I talked with one other person that has a 350 on a 23' seacraft but had a different bracket and 25" shaft. I have a twin hermco bracket so went with the 30" shaft. I'm getting 58 mph with a full load and still need more prop. I really don't care to go any faster but that will improve economy at cruise speed. It does like to be mounted high so it could go either way with a 25" mounted low or a 30" mounted high depending on your bracket. I can move up one hole on the mount and probably will. I really went with this engine for the duoprop and not the extra 50 hp (it doesn't hurt though). I am very impressed with the low speed/reverse handling at the dock and ramp. I'll put together some performance numbers once i finish rigging and break in.
