Default Console placement

Looking forward to pics. Are u the first person to do a 350? I remove my casting deck and have the console about 40 inch back from the bulkhead were step started about same place were u measure from which I believe at 40 inch is close to original location and it feels good and plenty of room between console and leaning postlwell and and between leaning post and transom crown. I did move tank forward and will have 2 both battery’s forward in consol. I have a twin Armstrong set up for 30 inch shaft so it sits about 3 inch from keel suppose to have great flotation. You have given something to think about now. I do like 2 fish 2 kits so was hoping to still have good deck space up front plus a coffin box.
Thx for your return was thinking no one liked me. Lol

One last thing my console is 48 deep without a seat again there will be an 80 lb coffin box up front without fish or ice. im Thinking with my console being 4 inch forward in the back moving operator forward a little and the coffin box if that works to balance out the 10 inch difference in placement. Got to get this right, any thoughts

83" give or take. i wouldn't know the difference at drift between the 25"/30" shaft but we are only talking about a 5" difference vertically. I would think a hard top vs soft top would change your vertical center of gravity and tippiness more than 5" of engine
