Very nice re-power and as far as "it's not going to make the oil companies happy", too bad! Great looking kids, you are breaking them in right!!

Nice looking rig and good choice on one of the lighter 4-strokes where weight is critical with a bracket!

This comment got my attention, as a hole in a piston is often the result of detonation, which you can't hear on a 2-stroke since there are no valves to rattle! Detonation/pre-ignition can often happen with hot-burning lean mixtures, which could be caused by either a plugged jet/injector or a restriction in the fuel supply. Did anyone check the No. 3 injector on old motor? Something like a stuck anti-siphon valve at the fuel tank could cause a similar problem on the new motor! Hopefully the dealer installed new 3/8" fuel lines and T'd a vacuum gauge into the line between boat fuel filter and motor to measure fuel restriction. A vacuum reading no higher than about 4" Hg @ WOT is probably ok, but might be worth checking to see if Suzuki has a spec for that!

Thanks for all the comments. Like I said before much of the credit on this build should be given to this community and it's extremely talented individuals who have posted and shared thier ideas. The pictures and step by step tutorials really made this happen for me. Upon completing this project I stood back and realized it's missing one thing....It needs to proudly display the CSC 1970 Potter Hull Logo on the stern. I remember seeing them for sale here but for some reason I can't find them. Any help would be appreciated..

showed-up.... Thought maybe you would have a pic with 5 lil' ones

Fine looking family and mighty fine 20 SeaCraft...

I can't recall. I want to say 30 " not 100 % though. I'll measure it next time I'm at my shop and post. I still have the template too. We have a welding shop next door, they can knock one out in a day if you are looking for one.
