*please* change that bilge hose you used. It's thin and not smooth-walled on the inside. Your two pumps will have reduced capacity if you keep it around. Warthog will show you the picture of his dog chewing it soon.

I don't like that bilge hose either, however I couldn't find any 1 1/8" smooth hose around.

Can I make a suggestion?
Get rid of this plastic hose RIGHT NOW! It's junk and should be Outlawed. It also slows the flow of water with the ribs inside. ![]() This is the only thing it's good for. [Dog Toy] ![]() |

Ok, it's gone! I was able to take the rigid 1" hose and heat it with a heat gun and slip it on.

For what its worth, I found some hose on ebay. I questioned the seller and he said that the inside was smooth. I think I will give this stuff a shot - not sure about the quality but I'm going to order some and check it out.

I hate to say it, but a 1" hose probably isn't much better than the ribbed 1-1/8" you had before.
The stuff that Will posted is what you want and the price is right. I ended up getting mine from west marine. Even with a port supply card it was expensive: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...001/146/145/11

Well I finally got around to getting some pics of the ole Seavette. This was Fri 9/28/07 at Horn Island. I'm still not finished redoing all of the teak.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Below are the custom speaker boxes that a friend made for me. I have a total of 8 6x9s in the cockpit and 2 12" Subs in the cabin. ![]() ![]() ![]() Here you can see my amps. One is a 4 channel US amps for the 6x9s that is running at a 2 ohm load and is kicking out a total of 500 RMS watts, and the other is a Memphis Audio amp for my Sub which is also kicking out 500 RMS watts at a 1 ohm load. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
