I agree with Trayder.....You feel lost on a wheel without one once you've used a wheel with one...I've noticed that when running a boat with the knob your hand migrates to the knob automatically....

I've seen the wheels with the knob mounted on the rim of the wheel....but I've started to see the knob inside the rim on one of the wheels sprockets ( I guess thats what you call it)...and like Tom says you get awesome response out of the boats steering

Wished it was around when I was running some of the bigger boats …would have worked great for dodging lobsterpots and garbage that sneak up on you.
