Default The Finished Product!!

Well fellas, here she is in all her glory! I can't begin to say what a great experience it has been to work w/ Don of Pipe Dreams. He delivered everything I ever wanted in a T-Top. I would highly recommend anyone looking for custom work w/in reasonable driving distance of Woodbine, NJ to give him a call. You won't be disappointed.

We had taken the canvas down, layed back the antennas and Don removed his TLD20s from the rod rack prior to taking the pic. I guess he had them up there after his Delaware Bay trip.

More pics are coming of her in the water and I should have the riggers back on in the next week or two. Man, do I need a digital camera, I'm tired of posting these the old fashioned way.

Anyway, thanks again Don!

Nice looking job Brian!!!!(your theory is good) Don- pretty work bud, but I have one question- how many fish did you catch???? On a more serious note- will you use those rod holders to actually troll with??Or just to keep them out of the way. Reason Im asking is there seems to be a lot of disagreement down here about both. Now I have tried to pull a tld-25 out of one of those t-top holders with a big fish on the other end and it aint fun!!!!Especially if there are any seas!!!! Anyway looks like a really nice job, I can tell that you are happy with it(I saw your old bimini on THT). Good luck- now we need to see some bloody decks and fish stink all over her!!!

Craig - now considering the "3" boat theory

Craig,

I plan to pull one or two lines from the top in the spring when the rock are shallow but they'll be primarily for storage in the fall. I'm certainly not going to pull a bird from up there. If I set the drags fairly light, I wouldn't think it would be too difficult.

I've heard the same stories about trying to retrieve a rod w/ a freight train bluefin pulling on the other end. Not something I want to experience. I have another center rod holder mounted low on the splash well door. When I use that, I have some braces that I put in place so that any force applied to the door is transferred to the transom.

Hopefully, I'll have those fish pics for you in a couple of weeks. I'm coming down to fish the CBBT on 12/6 and again on 12/13 and 12/14. I doubt I'll get in the TF tourney though. I'm still learning the area.

Thanks for the kind words. Don did do an excellent job.
