Just curious, why would you want to give up all that cockpit room to go to an I/O?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well I don't do that much fishing so the room is not a big issue. There are several reasons, my OB boat sits bow heavy at rest and I feel that the I/O models would not do this, the engine itself is a good bit cheaper to replace when it goes bad. I'm an ole gear head and there's nothing like the sound of a small block Chevy with the exhaust going through the transom, especially if it has a small cam. I really hate that I missed out on the 78 Sceptre in NC. that was for sale. It was almost too good of a deal to be true.
meads910: Thanks
