i saw the boat up close - unreal quality.
It was listed at CAD 38,000 and it has dropped down to CAD 28,000 and he may take low 20's for it. The owner has re-done a 23' and it apparently is in better shape than the 20' - asking in the 50's USD for it...... The guy who did all the work is located here in town - his name is Mark Ellis - I have not tracked him down yet but will pick his brain for how he did the work They said both boats were at the boat show - anyone see the 23'? Just my luck - looking all over hells half acre for a nice 20 or 23' and the most expensive ones are right here...... |

The 23 is in Seattle listed with a broker for $65,000. It is identical to the 20 that was posted. Same color same finish. It has tons of Teak, custom details and twin 200's on a bracket. I was not impressed with the paint however. For the time and money put into the boat, it should have been re-gelcoated. I lifted one of the forward hatches and it must of weighed 60LBS. Under the hatch was a huge vinyl bag of water. Presumably for ballast. With all the wood and custom details, not to mention the rigged power, I bet the boat weighs a lot more than it should. The performance must suffer from the weight too.

I put in an offer on the 20' and it was countered at $22,500 Canadian with no trailer

Beautiful boat but I would be afraid of fishing it where I want to fish:
