Just picked up a 1979 20' Seafari. 165hp I/O. My 1st boat, if I don't count the inflatable. She's in great shape yet somehow I'm already finding lots to work on.

Thanks to all those on this site. I learned alot before making the purchase.

Well,........... as you could tell from my buyer's beware topic, my 1978 Seacraft Sceptre has arrived and needs some work to get her back to a good looking classic. Here we go again! Hull checks out to be very sound, and the transom actually looks and sounds great,.........so with some crack filler, new hatch and deck stiffeners, sprayable fairing, primer and new awlgrip,..........she'll be as good as,.......No she'll be better then new!
