Default SeaCraft Patent

Does anyone know what the original patent number was for the seacraft design?

It would be interesting to see what they claimed originally and to see it in print would be explanatory to say the least

click on the link that says "Hull Patent"

BTW: If you look in the lower right hand corner of the page, you can resize the page.

Rich - unfortunately I was unable to open the site - problems with adsl router in BC at the moment.

I was however able to locate the patent number and saw the patent and the original claims at the uspto office site.

Carl's last name is spelled moesly not mosely as I thought.

I cannot seem to get the images to post on the site - but if someone is able it would be a great reference point of understanding the desing.

go to www.uspto.gov and click patents and the search.

then type in the number 3,237,581 (you need the commas) and you can see all the drawings and the text of the claims.

I have a PDF version of the patent. If you go to the previous link I mentioned you can view it and download it. IF anyone wants a copy I will email it to you.

Rich

Hermco,

The timeline was something I put together based on information gathered at this site. I can't say it is dead on, but I think it is pretty close.
If you know of something that should be changed, let me know and I'll change it.
