Default Re: Sceptre or Tsunami whats the difference?

I think the name changed to Sceptre in 1975 or 1976. I had a 1977 model and it was the Sceptre. We bought the boat new and I think the name had just changed within the last year or so. The 1977 was a Potter.

Marc, I get a lot of inconsistancy about this. I asume it's basiclly the same boat, but there must be a reason for the two names. I still haven't heard back from Mr.P. I will let everyone know what he says if and when I hear back from him

Darter-One, Welcome to CS. From what I gather Seacraft changed the name from Tsunami to Sceptre around '73-'74 due to copywrite issue of the Tsunami name.... Though I could be wrong?
