I've been to his shop. He is a dealer for that transom. He worked for a boat builder for many years & now has his own deal. The bracket was designed by Mr. Potter for our 23's. In the kit you will receive from him will have all the info you need (+) Mr. Potters phone #. Can't beat that! Good luck Sea Fit |

I too went to Don's shop. Don is very experienced with CC boats. Particularly SeaCrafts as Mr. Potter uses Don's shop as a second office many days. Don, has worked on all sorts of boats and with all sorts of boat firms. Including and not limited to: Ocean Master, Contender, Intrepid and many more. He runs an A1 operation in Jensen beach and I can not say anything but good things about Don and his operation.
I also went to Don's shop to see the SeaMark Bracket so I could develop an opinion of my own on the unit. In theory a Fiberglass unit sounds great but I wanted to see it in person. It is top notch, very well constructed and its finish is far superior to ANY Aluminum Bracket I have seen. It may cost a little more up front but unlike Alum brackets it will never chip paint and it is lighter, and more bouyant. Plain and simple the SeaMark bracket is much more of a product than any other bracket on the Market IMO. |

Not seen them in person…. but I have talked to Don several times(and asked lots of questions ) ....and like Trayder says is a great guy .... I did have someone from Jupiter (I use to work/run his Bertram) go up to see Don and check out the bracket for me. He also echo Trayders sentiments that it is one of the nicest looking and well built brackets he has seen....and this guy scrutinizes the hell out of anything he looks at..and isn’t shy about criticizing stuff he doesn’t see fit for use..If you do a search for brackets there was a lot of discussion about this very thing....Like Trayder says I think the Seamark bracket has the highest volume (buoyancy rating) out of them all.. I think its around 920-930lbs mounted
