Default Seacraft Sticker

I recently picked up a 1977 23' center console and am in the process of gutting, gel-coating and repowering the boat. I had to remove the old Seacraft stickers to gel coat the hull (Fighting Lady yellow by the way). Does anyone know where I can get some new Seacraft hull stickers? I went to the Seacraft web site with no luck. I would like to avoid having the make custom ones, but I will do it if I have to.....want every one to know it is a SeaCraft!

The old color was that classic mustard yellow color....I will post some pic's of the fighting lady yellow with shark white bottom paint soon. Repowering with a 2003 225 Optimax with Smartcraft and digital throttle.

Thanks in advance,

Eric,

Go back through the site a few months and you will find enough posts on replacing stickers to give you an afternoons worth of reading.

The easiest/cheapest route is to take a pencil rubbing of the sticker you want to a vinyl sign and sticker maker. With the computer aided machinery they use, a new set of SeaCraft stickers will take about 10 minutes and cost about $10. I did it this way and although they turned out GREAT, I removed them from the boat two weeks later. In just a few days I really got to liking the clean unobsructed lines without any logos.

Anyhow, search the site - this quest has been covered a number of times in the past.

Eric,
Welcome to CS. I got a set from Hyannis Marina back in '98. They are the same ones used on the new boats, I think they were $25 per side.

Hey Eric-
I repainted my 1984 23CC Seacraft about three years ago (also, yellow) and wanted to find the stickers to put back on so people would know what kind of boat it was. But, then I decided not too. That is, only people who would know what kind of boat it was would be a true Seacraft enthusiast if they were to see it. It also makes it look like a custom center console boat. Still the same boat with or without the stickers. Good luck on the paint job.

Thank you all for the great feedback - I actually met the guys at Hyanis Marine at the Boston boat show and they told me I could get the stickers from them....sat in a new 23' too, got some good ideas. I am actually leaning toward leaving the stickers off now - seems like a couple of you have tried it an like the lines without them...thanks again for the advice,
