Default Reason to buy a Honda

Back in 1999 I got a 130 for my 20' CC. This motor performed perfectly - smooth quiet and extremely fuel efficient, I swear this motor makes gas. Recently I get a memo from Honda saying they have improved the fuel pump and delivery system and are concerned about possible cylinder block problems. They want to replace both at no charge.
Took the boat in last week - it will be ready friday. New powerhead new fuel pump plus they will extend the waranty for 10 years! Fixing the problem before it starts - way to go Honda - all marine companies should follow their example.

Warranty extended to 10 years (from the date of purchase) Got it in writing from Honda and the authorized dealer confirmed it. Love this company!
We all pay a lot of money for marine products and it's nice to see a manufacturer step up to the plate for customer service.
