Default Re: Adding a floor piece with gutter

Capt Chuck- I've been thinking alot about what to do with the stern. I plan on adding a bracket with swim platform. I'm keeping the deck piece with the two pie hatches and filling them in so it is all one piece. A Armstrong hatch 21"x11" will be in the middle of the piece that I added with the gutter. This will give access to the plumbing for the live well, rear bilge pump etc. I will cut an acess door in the stern to get to the swim platform. Not sure how I will do this as it would have been better to make the access door in the original mold but I forgot to. I'm making two hatches with hinges. One will go on top left of the arched transom and one big one for middle that will open outward. I plan on putting the oil tank and water seperators etc on the inside of the transom. The batteries will stay in the consel. I'll keep the fish box on the bow as I dont have much room in my boat below the deck in the stern. Got many other plans but I'll tell you about those later.

abl1111- not a pro.... but I really like making things, I think I missed my calling in life as I could work on boats all day long.... if I could pay someone to do the grinding for me then I may quit my day job

ScottM- Hard for me to let a day go by without doing something to the boat. I had to take a break from eating all that bananna cream pie so I escaped for a while to the boat
