Thru hull scuppers ... How did ya fix em

Hi Scott, On my 1986 23' walkaround they were cheap plastic ones, So I could just brake them out. Then I checked to make sure the transom wood was dry then seal it with 5200 and install new brass thru hulls with 5200. There is something be sold that will remove old sealer like 5200 at West Marine and Boat US. Hope this helps.
P.S. It still was not easy.
