One of my friends made a flaring tool for use when installing them also. Pretty simple tool. Also instead of the 5200 you might think about using the 4200 instead so if you have to replace them again in another 20 years it will be easier to remove. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] Mine were plastic as well and came out easily so I cant comment on how fifficult it is to remove the brass tubes. However I bought (and still have) useless 4" tubes that were too short to work. Craig
