Default Re: LT'S BOTTOM PAINT REMOVAL

$2000.00 to shoot a boat? Must be the New England thriftyness but thats outta control. I painted my 20' sceptre in about and hour in a half total 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of finish and it came out great. I used a BINKS model 18 conventonal gun and a 2 quart pressue cup thinned the paint 15% 65 degrees both days I painted 220 sand inbetween coats looks beeter than most new gel coated boats but you need to remmber there is all kind of danger lurking I.E trailers rocks snags so how much effort is it really worth to get that show qaulity paint job anyway?
