Default Re: Chopping out the splash well & side compartments

hermco, in the pictures of your 20, you did not cut out the casting platform. Was there any reason? because my problem is that I have a small soft spot on the right side of my casting platform. I have been told that I can cut a small hole and fill it with foam. the whole deck is solid except for that one spot, and I dont mind cutting the deck out if I have to, but I am not really sure what route to go. My first thought was to remove the entire liner from the hull but I am also not sure of the proper way to separate the casting platform, as the rest of the liner is pretty much free. Any advice form you guys would be greatly appreciated

I left the casting platform because I wanted to have some kind of storage besides the console when I am done.It is also a good place for the babes to hang out.You might try Git Rot Epoxy on the soft spot in your deck I have used it before with good results.
