Default VALUE OF 23 SEPTRE

Could some of you knowledgeable seacraft owners give me an idea what you think this boat is worth? I am looking very seriously.79 septre ,new awlgrip outside, inside,even the bootom is awlgripped.300 hp yanmar,bravo 1 x-drive(diesel) 30 hrs,aluminum structure with soft top.new windshield,aluminum trailer.custom aluminum dive platform.stereo,gps ,bottom recorder.This boat is beautiful.Thanks for your help. Ron,
Because of the work that's been and what appears to be a new Yanmar (30 hours), I'd say she'd go for at least $30K.

I would have to agree with Scott. I own a 1978 Sceptre myself, and it sounds like the seller of the boat you are looking at has already completed my "wish list" of what I would like to do to my boat. Assuming the cost of the Yanmar/Bravo unit alone was probably mid $20K range, that would seem fairly reasonable. Good luck, sounds like a great boat. Would love to see pictures, if available.

Mid to high 30's. I saw a 78 IB with a 230 yanmar, I believe it went for $39,500.00 about a year ago

If my '75 Sceptre inboard had a 300HP Yanmar and was refinished I'd be a stock broker!
30k easy for the Seacraft enthusiast. One who doesn't know what we know may not pay.
