Default 20ft Potter Project for $1700 Interested?

Hello Again, In my travels of boat yards, engine shops, I discovered an Old 20ft Potter hull in pretty rough shape. There is a trailer under it but the mechanic wants to keep the Chrysler engine ( I know..WHY?). Anyway, unfortunately he knows what he has as far as a Seacraft goes but thats it. He told me 17-1800 would buy it. Just thought I'd pass it on. Since no one posted an answer how to post a pic. I'll have to E-mail them if interested. I just happened to have my camera with me. Thanks.

Boy I wish I didn’t support the one boat theory.

I've been practicing the "boat reduction theory" - last year I had two SeaCrafts and this year I only have one. I'm on a slightly different path: less is more?

Looked at the 20 project today. Its not a pretty sight. Floor is solid. I weigh close to 300 and no give at all. Needs a transom. Some rocket scientist put a 4 inch hole with a O Ring gasket access, stuck my hand inside felt the soft wood, though I jumped up and down on the engine and transom gave very little. It will make someone a good boat if he is in to projects. Just to Let you know. This is NOT my boat! So my feelings are intact with any rejections. Just passing it on to fellow Seacraft Lovers.
