Looks like he is liquidating stock ...and asking to cover his cost..... He’s also got a counter rotate 225, 140 4 stroke for 7,900 , a 115's plus a bunch of used boats

I've got a 1998 Suzuki 225 EFi with 427 hours on here. About a 100 hours are from me.....the rest from the previous owner.

No major problems that I know of, but I do know that previous owner filed an extended warranty claim for something (maybe something with lower unit???). The best part is...with these Suzuki's you can purchase an extended 7 year warranty through Suzuki/GE Capital. My 1998 model is warrantied through August of 2004.

I would buy another one in a heart beat. The only downside is that this is the last year for the Suzuki 2 strokes....next year they will only be making 4 strokes.

just make sure it is legit. was scammed on ebay on a furuno so I'm gun shy

I have heard that Suzuki is getting out of the 2 stroke outboards. IF this is true then he will have a hard time selling them and you should be able to get a very good deal on one.
