Default Hinged T-Top?

Does anyone have any experience w/T-Tops like, I think it's page 86 in Boaters world Catalogue. My 20 MA, as you well know has a very wide console. Can't imagine trying to walk around the bases. Also, it is kept in garage with 10x10 overhead door. Idea looks smart but mounting system to floor doesn't look so hot to me. Boat has been seatless since I removed the captains chairs back in '96. Also removed all mismatched deck hardware, brackets for bimini before repainting deck. Don't imagine this one would sell to quick in Fla., Huh? Thought for $2995 I could have a real custom one built.

Default Re: Hinged T-Top?

Vezo,
A buddy of mine has a folding T-top on a 21' Hydra-Sports CC and it works really well. The frame is 1" stainless tubing and mounts on the console, not the floor. The hinge is at the front of the console just below the windshield and tilts forward. The rear supports are two-piece and connect with bolts in the middle. Undo the bolts and she tilts right down. The top is fabric to cut down on weight. The only drawback to this design is it shakes a little underway.
