Anyone out there deal with a reliable outboard mechanic here in the Cape Cod area (Steve, Hooper)? Having a very strange fuel management problem with one of my Johnson 140 VRO's. Even off Cape works since I can bring the boat to them.

Squiddy-
I was also given Andy's name and number by a friend of mine from Nauset Marine. My buddy says he is a great mechanic. So, I second the endorsement. I was having engine problems lately and it turned out to be two thermostats had gone, but when you're as clueless about engines as I am, it can be frustrating (especially in July)! -Hooper |

Thanks Hoop...I ended up replacing the fuel pump last week and was off and running. Still trying to touch base with andy though, always good to have a reliable mechanic.
