Default Re: Dock lines

Ha Scott
How’s it going? I have been setting up a under the center consol tackle box. I’m installing it under that little globe box compartment in the consol. It going to have 6 trays to it and still have enough room to the right of it for a narrow door so I can get into the center consol for service of the hydraulic steering and the shifting binnacle plus I still can put some extra stuff in there if I need to. I read you question about lines I have been using ½” for both tying off the boat at the dock and for anchor lines not that 3/8 “ wouldn’t work great the reason I use ½ is because it is easier to grip and work with when you are pulling on it. I use to use 3/8” on my 18 ‘ Hydrasprot and didn’t care for the stuff for these reasons.
