It sounds like all of you have your work cut out for you - only half bad if your wives help out! i heard from friends in westport, ct that there were more snowmobiles on the roads than snowplows. Not much else to do on a day like today. Easy on those backs, fellas (better to clear out twice and half as much than wait for the blizzard-like pile-up i would think?), and if you have to head out, BE CAREFUL. (Just out of curiosity, are the liquor stores open?) BB, quite kind of you to offer your services to those nurses - hospitals don't have the prerogative to shut down no matter what the weather. Luckily for the postmen in the mid-Atlantic/Northeast, today's a holiday.

Hey,

So far, no snow in West Palm Beach yet... Got a little sun burn at the sand bar yesterday...

My wife's turn to shovel but I'll do the 3' high mound from the plow passing by... The wind was coming right up the street from the bay cleaningother yards and dumping it into mine

For all you shivering in Florida, when it's 99 & 99 with no wind after the rains come thru and we're 82, dry & with a seabreze and bluebird skys, I'll be thinking how glad I am to be up here (until then - I'm insanely jealous...)

I just did the driveway with the snowblower for the second time and I'm sure that I will be doing it again tomorrow. The snow caved in the tarp and frame I had set up over the boat, didn't get to it in time A little more strapping and wire and it will be good as new. I'm really glad I got the snowblower last year, this years been a killer for snow.

Looks like only 15 or 16 inches here... Roads looks pretty clear too considering. Wouldn't need a 4WD for work today...

I thought Rhody got whacked by the storm...only 16 inches??
