Mark.. this is the going rate for all of the work I do on my Sea Craft.. Figure 1 beer per square ft of work- flat rate. Glass work is higher at 2 per linear foot of glass... ie.. Rewire dash panel- panel is 16"x8" = 1.6 beers, but don't forget to add in the wire...

I think you're working too cheap. Minimum wage on a SeaCraft is more than that. CSC Union Local 23 rules.

This formula idea can and does put the FUN back in project boat building. My problem was that I under estimated the Bud factor and many of my projects were just OK not FUN. If I ever do another boat I will X 2 on the Bud factor and I should be in the ball park.
