John,
Something tells me Team Ave Maria has this season locked up. Those Sea Monkey guys don't have a chance in competing with a slob like that! (Another one of those inside jokes)

My congratulations to Mike for a job well done.

Moooooooooo, wow that is a fat sow. We only dream about those fish down here. Once in a blue moon are 45+ inch fish taken in mid-bay, chesapeake, where I fish.

Nice fish Gordon - nice boat too! What's your top end? I have a similar set up with ttop and canvas - I was thinking the canvas was slowing me down a bit, but not sure. I am only getting about 35 knots max with a new 225 opti. I have a feeling something else is wrong (besides canvas and ttop! slowing me down).

Hi Eric-

I get 38.5kts at 5200 rpm's top end no matter how I trim, it tilt it, or whatever. That's with tabs up and about 3/4 full of fuel, about125 gallons. That, to me, is a lot of speed, but I supposed if I wanted to experiment with props I could squeak a bit more out of it.

At 4500rpm's I am getting 29.5 kts and in good conditions, that gets me anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. When it's a bit sloppier, 4200 gives me 26kts. I can live with that.

Getting ready for the big show at Chatham??? Have you heard of any schoolies yet? I want to go and play with them this year!

Holy shit.....that is a huge Striper. I have to get my boat in the water

For all of you Boston folks, Guys were slaying the stripers off the Charlestown bridge tonight in front of the damn. The birds were working like crazy and the sidewalk on the bridge looked like a sashimi platter.

Ed - that was just outside of the harbor. Big Ass bass have been rolling over macs for 10 days now. Big schools of fish blew thru Rhody and the Cape to stay on that bait...
