Rigging T-top outriggers
Hey guys, lots of off topic post's for me here lately, not working on the boat itself but buying new toys to put on it. I just purchased new lay-down Lee's t-top riggers. I have figured out how I am going to mount and reinforce them but I am somewhat confused on the actual rigging. I have done lots of them on standard gunnel mounted ones running long , short and teasers off each one. Im afraid this will be too cluttered and have already figured on putting the teasers somewhere else. I have read of people doing some funky stuff when they are in the running position also. I want my s#it looking good and fishing good as well. Any ideas or illustrations on how you guys are rigging them would be a lot of help. 1-3/4" tubes with the black 16'xt poles are going to look sweet. I have completed my new black top covers as well as the front curtain and am still working on the black side curtains. Anyways whadda y'all think ???? Thanx-craig

Re: Rigging T-top outriggers
Black Poles..???? Craig.. Did you buy them from Lee direct?.. Unless they've change the black poles, they are going to turn purple in less then a season. I think you may be unhappy with them. I've had to talk more then a few customers out of black poles (mostly by Lee's people too)just because of this issue. I'm going to call Lee today and talk to my "guy " there and see if they've improved on them. But as far as rigging goes, I double rig them with two postions one for fishing(clip on the gunnel) and one for running(clip on the T-top)most of the time the running postion is forward near the front of the top. Give me a call about the poles if you want 609-485-6607 day and 609-628-9353 eves
