Default used 23 cc

Hey guys , I have been watching this site for quite some time and I see alot of great adviceand opinions here so I'm hoping you can help me also. I am going to look at a 23 cc that was supposedlt redone in 02. Any suggestions on what to look for , what is normal wear or any big "deal breaker "type problems to look for would be greatly appreciated. BTW the asking price of boat, motor &trailer is $18,000.00 What do you think?

Hi Brad
Welcome to the board. That’s a pretty broad question you are giving but price and value is always a balancing act. I think everyone would ask the same type questions like year build, condition of the boat, does it have a trailer, motor, t-top and their conditions and age. In general though, I LOVE my 23 CC SeaCraft and no matter what condition a 23 is in I would seriously consider how I could fix her up more than price verses value. Some one once told me there is no such thing as objectivity just varying degrees of subjectivity. I guess I could be guilty of that.

Hey Fellow Ship , thanks for the advice and insight. I agree with you completely. As it turns out , when I went to look at the boat the owner said he had "come to his senses" and decided not to sell her. I cant say that I blame him. Anyway , I'm going to keep on looking. Thanks again!
