I was wondering what would be the best way to plumb an above deck bait well? It is located in the front seat of my console that I am having built for my 20. The bottom part of the well comes down to be flush with the bottom of the console, so it would be sitting on top of the deck. In my 20 the gas tank is located beneath that under the deck, so what would be my options, would I have to drain it out of the back of the well and have all of the plumbing run thru the whole cut for the the throttle and steering. Is there enough room there. I dont think there is enough room for me to cut a whole in the deck below it and run all of the plumbing that way to due to the gas tank. What do you guys think?
Thanks, George

Ha George
I don’t know if you have enough room for the hoses or not maybe some one else call talk about that part but as for the location I had a 18’ HydraSport and set up my tank in that location worked great and added the extra weight in the right place for a smaller boat. I used a scoop in the bilge with a 500 gal pump and cut off valve. I had the drain lines going through the transom worked great. FellowShip |

Don't want to be a thread pirate here, but has anyone ever seen a reversible pump? A friend said he's seen them but didn't know who made them.I want to use the stock transom livewell on the 23 for now, but I need a way to drain it at the end of the day.A reversible would be great.
