Default EPIRB deal

If anyone is interested... On another forum site, there is a group buy on EPIRB's forming and it looks like the prices will be pretty good.

Why not get in on this if you need one...?

Capt Brad

Thanks! That sounds good, I will send you an email when things look firm. 'Course, I can't say for sure how long that will be!

I will want to join in on the purchase too.

The wife has prety much demanded it after I get the my POS boat back. She has even suggested upping my life insurance policy.....boy do I feel love!

Seriously though (not kidding about the POS boat)...I would like to purchase one with the internal GPS too.

Sorry for the "POS" business yesterday....I guess my frustration was showing.

I am in the market though.

Just be careful on which model you are buying. Certain frequencies are being phased out in 2006.

Here is the link for the EPIRB buy on Noreast.Com...

http://www.noreast.com/discussion/Vi...rtrow=1&page=1

I think they need you to post and tell them you want in on the deal. Apparently, we are looking to get an ACR CatI with GPS Rapid Fix, a $1K unit. But, according to the guys on the board, they usually save hundreds by getting so many units. Hope you can get in on it!

Default April 16th....

Last couple of days to get a EPIRB if anyone is interested.... April 16th is the cutoff date. The more who throw their hat into the ring, the better the price...
