Default Thinkin' of a New Prop for My 'Rude

Hi Guys-

I got a suggestion from someone recently who suggested I drop from the 14 3/4 x 19 three blade stainless to a 17. I was told that I would turn up more rpm's and attain a higher cruise.

He runs the same 225 Ficht on his 23 SeaCraft and gets much better performance numbers than I do on mine...

I run about 5400-5500 rpm and get a cruise of about 25-26kts at 4500prpm's.

I would appreciate your thoughts...
