Recent improvements to my inboard

I was looking into the 582, did you guys put in the "high performance" thru hull Ducer with the accompanying fairing block, or the regular bronze thru hull? Seems like a big premium for the $ on the high performance ducer? Is it mostly related to speed? or performance? Thanks for input.
